Islamic Center of Richmond — Text Message (SMS) Terms and Conditions

1. Program and sender
These terms govern the ICR Pledge and Donation Text Message program (the “Program”). Messages are sent by Islamic Center of Richmond (“ICR”), 8481 Hungary Road, Glen Allen, VA 23060, from the number (804) 781-3270.
2. Types of messages
If you opt in, you will receive SMS text messages related to your pledge to ICR, including: confirmation that your pledge was recorded; reminders when a pledge payment is due; and thank-you or receipt messages after a donation is received. The Program does not send marketing or promotional messages.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on your pledge schedule. Typically you will receive one confirmation message, one reminder before each pledge payment is due, and one receipt message after each payment.
4. Cost
Message and data rates may apply. ICR does not charge for the Program, but your wireless carrier’s standard messaging and data rates apply to messages you send and receive. Contact your carrier for details about your plan.
5. How to opt in
You join the Program by checking the optional text-message consent box on an ICR paper pledge card and providing your mobile number. The box is unchecked by default. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of making a pledge or donation, and you can make a pledge without opting in. When you opt in, you will receive a welcome message confirming your subscription.
6. How to opt out
You can cancel at any time. Reply STOP to any message from (804) 781-3270 and you will receive a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed; after that, you will not receive further text messages from ICR unless you opt in again. You can also ask to be removed by emailing info@icrva.org or calling (804) 494-4349.

8. Carrier liability
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your carrier and network availability.
9. Privacy
Your mobile phone number and text-message opt-in data will not be shared or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Please see our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect and use your information.
10. Changes
ICR may change these terms or the Program at any time; changes are effective when posted on this page.
